Located in the Tuscan hills 10 minutes west of Lucca, this beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse is on 40 acres of olive trees and vineyards. The grounds and
gardens are beautiful. From here one can enjoy the daily town life of the walled city of Lucca, the beach resort of Forte dei Marmi (30 minutes) or spend a day in Florence
(45 minutes).
The farmhouse is set on a hill, off of a paved country road through a private gate. This is a very private residence with views in all directions
of rolling, wooded hills. On a clear day, one can see the Leaning Tower in Pisa. The house was recently restored and the interior designed by the finest craftsmen with
respect for both Tuscan traditions and the highest standards of comfort. It has six large modern bathrooms, five large bedrooms, and four fireplaces.
The
house is filled with light and inviting open spaces. The ground floor opens to the outdoor terrace from four pairs of large wooden doors (the original stable doors). There
is outdoor dining under the pergola and a covered outdoor living area. There are walled gardens, a 60-foot long mosaic pool, and an outdoor pizza oven.
The house is provided with cable television, WiFi, flat screen TV and surround sound in the living room. There are screens throughout the house and fans in all the
bedrooms. The four bedrooms on the second and third floor are all air conditioned.
